Our Batik
Batik is a masterpiece of Indonesia and some countries in Asia. In Indonesia, batik is made by wax which is paint in some cloth (silk, textile, etc) and it processing in some steps till it called batik.
We have so many batiks here, we have batik's printing, batik's cap, batik's tulis, and also textile batik.
*Batik Printing is a batik which is made by some modern tools in a factory. Usually batik printing is selling in traditional market (such as Pasar Beringharjo in Yogyakarta and Pasar Klewer in Solo). The truth, batik printing is not batik because it is not done in waxing process. Usually it has 210 cm x 100 cm lenght.
*Batik Cap is a batik which is made by a plate that contain of bee's wax and stamp in cloth or in unbleached cotton cloth. Usually it has 210 cm x 100 cm lenght.
*Batik Tulis is a batik which is made by drawing the bee's wax with chanting ( a tool to draw wax in cloth) in cloth or in unbleached cooton cloth. Usually it has 210 cm x 100 cm lenght.
*Batik textile has so many batik ornaments but it just a printing cloth with some ornaments here. Usually it has 100 cm x 110 cm lenght.
